August 2026

Last updated: August 7, 2026.

A plain-language description of what this site actually does with data, not formal legal counsel.

What this site collects

Nothing directly. There are no comments, no contact forms, no newsletter signup, and no accounts. This site sets no cookies, and it serves no JavaScript at all — not “no tracking scripts”, but no scripts, full stop. You can check that yourself with View Source on any page here.

The leaderboards are built from data POTA already publishes — call signs and activation counts that are public record on pota.app. Nobody is added by hand, and there is nothing to opt into or out of here. If you want a call sign removed from a board, that is a POTA question rather than a question about this site.

What the server records

Like nearly every web server, this one keeps an access log: the page requested, the time, your IP address, and your browser’s user-agent string. It is used to see whether the site is working and roughly how much it is being read. Logs rotate and are deleted automatically after a few days. They are not sold, not shared, and not linked to anything else.

Third-party services

One, and it is worth naming plainly rather than burying:

Google Fonts. The typefaces on this site are loaded from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com, which means your browser makes a request to Google when you load a page, and Google can see your IP address as an ordinary side effect. Nothing else on the site is third-party — no ad networks, no trackers, no embedded social widgets.

Links out to POTA, OpenStreetMap and other sites are ordinary links. Following one takes you to that site under its own privacy policy, not this one.

Changes

If any of this changes — analytics, comments, embedded maps, anything that touches a visitor’s data — this page gets updated at the same time, not afterwards.
